Hey, I'm
Nathaniel Bergman
Actor / Singer / Musician

About Me
I am a senior at The University Of Miami working towards a BFA in Musical Theatre. I was born and raised in Westchester, NY, and I reside in Brooklyn, NY, when I am not at school. Growing up in one of the world's largest hubs of live performance has inspired me and given me a deep appreciation for theater. I have participated in many theater performances and productions on stage, backstage and in the audience. Theater is my passion and informs my outlook, ethics, and appreciation for the arts.

Growing up, music was the centerpiece of my life. My mother is a rabbi and included all of us in her Jewish musical experiences, and my father is a lifelong guitar player; I adopted their love of music and started guitar lessons at the age of 7. Guitar helped me find my voice, and throughout middle school and high school, I worked with a vocal coach and discovered singing and theater. I also served as the cantorial soloist for my mom’s High Holy Day experience and b’nai mitzvah services; this enhanced my ability to use music in different settings to tell a story and to set a specific tone.
I am passionate, loving, and funny, so I am drawn to characters who exhibit those qualities. On stage, I thrive in roles where I can fight for something important, use my whole body to tell the story, and pour my passion and energy into my character's motives.

The live performances and musical experiences I have been a part of have strengthened my desire to contribute my skills in musical theatre. I am excited to share my passion and energy with the world and move audiences the way so many performances have moved me!
